Conventional Testing Project
Steel Structure
1, All steel material must be inspected by professional QC before storing. Such like:
material, size, configuration, weight and allowable deviation. National standard: GB/T
700-2006、GB/T 709-2006、GB/T3274-2007、GB/T 1591-2008.
2, All weld groove form, size, welding materials are required to strictly abide by welding
procedure specification and blueprint requirements; And ensure the welding quality, the
test items include: appearance detection, nondestructive testing (radiographic testing,
ultrasonic testing, penetrant testing, magnetic particle testing) etc. to ensure the welding
qualified refering to national standard of: GB/T 3323-2005,JB/T 10559 - 2006,JB/T
6062-2007.
Mechanism
1, Wheels are made of casting steel ZG340-640 or low alloy steel ZG50iMn. Wheel tread
depth of hardening≥20mm; For casting steel ZG340-640, rolling surface hardness is
HB300-350; For ZG50iMn, rolling surface hardness is HB420-480. The mechanical
property, accuracy, roughness are accord to standard of JB/T 6392-2008.
2, According to mechanical properties, the forging hooks are divided into five strength
grades: M,P, S, T, V. Accord to shape, it has single hook and double hook. The hook top is
made of DG20, DG20Mn, DG34CrMo. The technology, testing and inspection are refer to
GB/T10051-2010.
3, Wire rope are crane special steel wire rope, the structure form mainly is 6 × 37 and 6 ×
19. its technical requirements, mechanical properties, test method are accorded to GB/T
20118-2006, GB 8919-2006.
Assembling
1, Crane's span, stiffness, camber all technical inspection items are conform to the
corresponding national standard and the process inspection standard according to the
factory record.
2,Before painting some important parts' surface are shot peening to grade Sa2.5 ,Film
total thickness is 75μm ~ 105μm. Painting adhesion is accorded to the class I of GB/T
9286.
3,Crane do a static load testing of 1.25 times rated load and dynamic load test of 1.1 times
the rated load , to test the bearing capacity of the crane and the mechanism function.
Radiographic Testing(RT)
X ray, Y ray or neutron ray test material's discontinuity, and show the image on recording
medium to inspect its inside defect. This testing is direct but expensive.
Ultrasonic Testing (UT)
Use ultrasonic to detect its defects, this is suitable for detection of kinds of metal materials,
the internal defect. It is often used for pipe, plate, bar and weld; The test is fast, low cost,
and wide application.
Penetration Testing (PT)
Use ultrasonic to detect its defects, this is suitable for detection of kinds of metal materials,
the internal defect. It is often used for pipe, plate, bar and weld; The test is fast, low cost,
and wide application.
Magnetic Testing(MT)
Using magnetic leakage and appropriate test to find the discontinuity on specimen surface
and near surface .
Coating testing
In order to ensure that the quality of coating, the coating film performance testing mainly
include the mechanical properties (such as thickness, adhesion, gloss, etc.) and special
properties (such as corrosion resistance, oil resistance, acid resistance, etc.). The test
instrument include: coating thickness tester, tester, the adhesion tester, film griding
instrument, etc.
Metal hardness testing
Mainly use static test method, like HB, HRC, HV, HL. HB and HRC are the main method
and used more. HB is widely used, HRC is suitable for surface high hardness material,
such as heat treatment hardness, etc., to detect metal material's resistance ability by hard
